Our commitment
TaskDrop is committed to making our website and service accessible to as many people as possible. We want our platform to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
What we've done
We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility on taskdrop.co.uk:
- All pages use semantic HTML with proper heading structure
- Colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards where possible
- All images include descriptive alt text
- The site is navigable by keyboard
- Font sizes are set in relative units and scale with browser settings
- Forms include descriptive labels and clear error messages
- Animations respect the operating-system Reduce Motion setting
- The WhatsApp interface (the core service) works on all modern mobile devices and screen readers
Known limitations
We're aware of areas where we're still working to improve accessibility:
- Some PDF documents generated by the service may not be fully accessible to screen readers — we're working to improve this
- The WhatsApp interface relies on WhatsApp's own accessibility features — we recommend enabling WhatsApp's built-in accessibility settings
- Some interactive components on the homepage (the demo phone) are visual-only — equivalent text content is provided alongside
Technical specification
TaskDrop relies on the following technologies:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- WhatsApp (for the core document generation service)
